Former Nigerian Governor's Wife Dead

The first military governor of Oyo State and former
Minister of Police Affairs General David Jemibewon
(retd.) is bereaved as he lost his wife Chief (Mrs)
Comfort Adunni Jemibewon (nee Oni) on
Wednesday, 22nd July 2015. The Jemibewon
matriarch died at the age of 70.
The funeral arrangements as announced by the
family are as follows:
On Wednesday 5th August 2015, there will be a
Service of Songs in her honour at The Darlington
Hall, Ilupeju. Her body will be laid to rest on
Thursday 6th August 2015 and the proceedings
will start with a Funeral Service at the Redeemed
Christian Church of God, Redemption Crescent,
Gbagada.
The interment is scheduled to hold at the Vault and
Gardens, Ikoyi. Reception follows afterwards at the
Darlington Hall, Ilupeju. Chief (Mrs) Comfort Adunni
Jemibewon is survived by her husband General
David Medaiyese Jemibewon -Rtd; her children
Dele Jemibewon , Femi & Damilola Jemibewon,
Tunbosun & Tayo Kola-Daisi, Seun & Bimbo
Somolu, Yomi & Patricia Jemibewon and many
grandchildren.
