Well, there you have it. Shatta Wale (Ghana), Wizkid (Nigeria), Davido (Nigeria), Fuse ODG (Ghana/UK) and AKA (South Africa) are the 5 Final nominees for this year’s “Best African Act” at MOBO Awards 2015!
A couple of weeks ago, MOBO announced 10 initial nominees for coveted prize. Eventually, it was cut down to 5, with Moelogo, Silvastone, Patoranking, Mista Silva and, surprisingly, Yemi Alade falling off.
In my opinion, Yemi Alade is the biggest upset, as she was being tipped in several quarters to become the overall winner.
And the final 5 nominees for BEST AFRICAN ACT are…… #MOBOAwards
