Sylvia not threat to Dickson —Group

The wife of former President, Mrs. Patience Jona­than has been advised to support the re-election bid of the incumbent governor of Bayelsa State, Henry Se­riake Dickson.

Making the appeal at the weekend, a Lagos-based lawyer, Barrister Raphael Okonkwo implored the former First Lady to for­get the disagreement of the past, bury the hatchet and support the campaign for the re-election of the gov­ernor for the sake of con­tinuity.

“Dickson has been do­ing very well in the state. Myself and a group of other professionals have been watching and moni­toring developments in Bayelsa State, and we are impressed by Dickson’s record. We are apolitical in our organisation, our concern is for good gov­ernance. Dickson is do­ing very well, and this is why we are appealing to all stakeholders in Bay­elsa State to support his re-election,’’ he said.
