Hapoel Be'er Sheva midfielder John Ogu and former Nigeria international George Abbey have congratulated the Super Eagles following their 2-0 win against Swaziland in the 2018 World Cup second leg qualifier on Tuesday.
Goals from Moses Simon and Efe Ambrose in the second half sealed the win for the Eagles.
Reacting to the win, Ogu hailed the players for their effort.
"Congratulations to Nigeria Super Eagles. Great job to the boys for a job well done," he wrote on his Twitter handle.
On his part, Abbey, a 2004 Cup of Nations bronze medal winner in Tunisia with the Eagles, described the game as difficult.
He tweeted: "Well done Super Eagles, I'm happy for the team. It wasn't easy but we'll take the victory. #UpEagles!"
