By Johnny Edward:
Hapoel Be'er Sheva midfielder John Ogu says he wants to score more goals for his team after he bagged the winner in his side's 2-1 win at Hapoel Kfar Saba.
Ogu sealed his side's win in the 43rd minute after they fought back from a goal down through Anthony Nwakeme's leveller 12 minutes earlier.
The goal scored in the encounter was his fourth goal of the season for the Israeli leaders who maintained a five-point lead over Maccabi Tel Aviv.
"It's always a good feeling to score but I'm more particular about how the team progresses," Ogu told Completesportsnigeria.com.
Ogu who last featured for the Super Eagles against Chad in Kaduna in 2015 prays he gets a chance to make a return to the fold under the new interim coaching crew.
"I've been out of the team for some months now but I'd cherish a return and help in anyway I can.
"I'm doing well here and I believe I can offer more with the Eagles," he told Completesportsnigeria.com.
He also wrote via his Twitter handle: "Thank you great God for the victory tonight and my goal. Great effort from the team tonight. We keep Moving."
