Terry G Signs Record Deal,Set To Release "Totori"

After taking some time off music to nurture and
consolidate on his pure water business, talented
act, Terry G, is back with a bang. The ‘Ginger Your
Swagger’ rapper has just inked a multi-million
naira deal with an America cum Abuja-based
record label, Black Wall Street and he’s now set to
take the music scene by storm with the release of
his new single entitled, Totori.
However, to really position his music, Black Wall
Street has re-branded Terry G. The music star
now wears a new look and cruises around town in
a sleek white Ferrari F430 2013 model worth N85
million and bought for him by the label. Black Wall
Street has also secured a new mansion in
highbrow Lekki, Lagos for the artist.
Produced by Serra Leone-based top producer,
Abizzy, Totori is a love song dedicated to African
women. According to Terry G, he went all the way
to Serra Leone to produce Totori simply because
he felt the need to produce an authentic African
sound, for the African market. “Music is a global
language. I felt I needed an African sound, a sound
that will suit the African market, so I went to Serra
Leone to produce Totori. If you listen to the music,
you’ll notice that it is hot and laced with African
flavour. Aside this, it is a love song dedicated to
African women,” he explained.
On why he decided to sign on Terry G, Mr. Suni
Osorun, CEO, Black Wall Street, said both of them
have come a long way. ‘Terry G and I have known
each other way back. We’ve been doing a lot of
stuff together. He has been my guy for ages. He is
a talented artist. He is very creative and humble,”
Osorun said.
An accomplished producer and actor, Osorun has
worked with big names like The Game, 50 Cent,
and Lil Wayne to mention a few. He is among the
top guns when it comes to A-list shows and
concerts in Abuja. He has featured in movies such
as Third World Cop, Training Day, Mission
Impossible, Exit Wounds, Tears of the Sun with
Bruce Willis, Bourne Identity with Matt Damon, and
Universal Pictures’ Street Money with The Game,
Wyclef and Tyrese.
However, as an added value for the numerous fans
of Terry G, a bonus track, Ferrari, has been
released alongside Totori, and both songs are
already setting the airwaves ablaze across the
country.
Meanwhile, Terry G will next week travel to the
United Kingdom where he is billed to perform at a
number of shows. He will also use the opportunity
to shoot the video of Totori.
