Those who attended the MTN Foundation’s 10th anniversary held in Lagos recently would likely talk about it for a long time. It was certainly an evening of fun, music, drama and more fun.
Themed: “A Decade of Impact… New Hopes, Possibilities,” the event which held at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, was an exciting one as some MUSON Music Scholars (Beneficiaries of MTNF Programme) opened the stage by entertaining the audience with a brilliant performance.
MTN Project Fame Season 7 winner, Geoffery Orji, showed that he is no longer a rookie artiste as he came on the stage and wowed the audience with his performance.
It wasn’t really an evening of so much talk but then, in his welcome address, the Chairman, MTNF, Prince Adelusi-Adeluyi, thanked the stakeholders for their immense support.
“We would have never achieved all that we have done without you,” he said.
A 155-page MTNF Commemorative View Book titled: ‘The Y’ellow Impact’, was unveiled a couple of minutes after a 20-minute documentary video also titled ‘The Y’ellow Impact’, was shown. Both the documentary video and the book featured interviews and testimonials of some beneficiaries of the schemes MTNF has been offering Nigerians.
When MTN ambassadors, Chidinma and Banky W, came on the stage, the crowd practically went wild as the artistes showed stuff they are made of as they thrilled the audience.
