Nobody is happy about the crisis going on in the nation’s upper legislative chamber, the Senate. Let all our senators responsibly base on their constituency mandate and not go to the Senate to form gangs against the citizens.
Blocking a sensitive bill or confirmation of what will alleviate our suffering will be considered as a gang up against Nigeria’s political destiny.
All senators must work for resolution of this crisis in a transparent manner and international standard. Many states are unable to pay workers as some celebrate in hunger.
lf their own allowances are regular, they must do the needful to make things better for the common man on the street. Democracy is about the welfare of the citizens and not for the enjoyment of a few privileged individuals in the corridors of power toiling with our collective destinies.
Politicians should come together and proffer solutions to our obvious problems rather than playing politics.
