This partly answers the question most hip hop lovers have concerning the decline of hip hop music in Nigeria. Most rappers who started as rappers and made it big as rappers are now singing Afropop songs. So the question is, are the rappers being less creative OR are they simply supplying what is being highly demanded as Naeto has just explained?
It’s definitely quite frustrating to fans such as myself who want to see Naeto C in his true essence on songs like Kini Big Deal and 10/10 which both had commercial elements but were still HOT hip hop songs.
